If you’ve booked (or you’re thinking about booking) a home visit physio appointment, you might be wondering what you actually need to do to prepare. Good news: it’s simple — and a few small things can make the session much more useful.
What to wear
Comfortable clothes you can move in
Shorts if we’re looking at hip/knee issues (if you’re comfortable)
A vest/t-shirt if we’re looking at shoulder/neck
What to have ready (optional)
Any scan reports or discharge letters
A list of meds (if relevant)
Your main questions (write them down)
How to get the most from the session
Tell me what you want to be able to do again (your goal)
Show me the movements that trigger symptoms
Be honest about what you can realistically do between sessions
